Mobile Games

American war in Iraq has attracted movie makers and game makers alike. Quite a lot of movies and games have already been brought out in the market and now it was high time that the perceived war thrill was brought to us on our mobiles.

Assault team 3D is a first person shooter (FPS) mobile game which depicts the war in Baghdad as its theme. It is a war game where the gamer has to destroy the opposing team. One can either select to be a US soldier or an Iraqi soldier.

GRAPHICS
The first glance on the game actually made me thrilled about the quality of graphics that I was about to enjoy and rightly so. Being one of its kind of first person shooter game for mobile phones, the developers have done a nice job. The textures are good enough to keep one amused. Buildings, pavements, trees and roads have quite a nice appearance. Opposing bad guys are also good enough to the eye. Their movements around the landscape in the midst of streets make the experience a lot more enjoyable. The enemy does not stand firm at its place like a dummy waiting to be shot. It does create a nice urban battle-field scenario. In my view there is still there is not much left to improve. It a whole new level of graphic experience on your mobile sets!

CONTROLS
Controls are very easy and simple to use. One moves around using direction keys. Forward and backward keys bring you in to a motion while you maneuver using left or right direction key.

SOUND
The developers did a nice job when it comes to music. The intro music really turns on your fighting appetite, at least for me it did. FPS games are about bringing in a closer experience to real life situation and sound effects do that really well. With some mp3 effects and great shooting sounds you would not want more but continue immersed in your game completely. When played on high-tech sets, you are bound to get the best of this game in terms of sound.

PLAYABILITY
When it comes to playability of Assault 3D it is very good. With different levels to play you can kill more time enjoying it. You do get ammo and health lying around in the game. There is map to the lower left side of the screen that shows you enemies in the close vicinity, placing a choice on you to choose your target. The health bars on the top of the screen shows our health and the enemies’ health. You get to play with one great looking gun, in line with real life scenarios.

CONCLUSION
Assault 3D is a beginning of new era. The developers have done a remarkable job. With coming years one should expect more thrilling and exciting material coming from these great minds.
